 The Lake of the Ozarks tournament begins in the morning. I can say I have had a blast during my pre – fishing. I have covered a lot of water and caught a lot of fish.The quantity is not a problem, the quality may be. I have talked about the mental part of the game in my news letter. I believe that there comes a point in the game that you can over analyze, prepare,and sometimes bang your head against the deck of your boat. But in the end you can only do two things and that is  keep focused  and Just Fish. To often I have seen anglers including myself have great pre-fish periods and than tournament day rolls around and you just don’t get what you thought you would. I have seen that same scenario the other way, you fish and try everything and think there is just no way your gonna bring in five and tournament day rolls around and there you are with five. In this sport that is what keeps us on edge all the time.The not knowing.I will say that this fishery is great and if you have never fished it, you ought to give it a go. So with all that said I am gonna follow my own advice , Stay Focused and Just Fish. as always……always fishin
