When I first set out on my journey as a professional bass angler road, little did I know along the way I would meet and become friends with some great people. Chad Griffin of Texas is one of those people. I met Chad three years ago, I am now the same age as he was when he caught the fishing bug and maybe that is why we became fast friends. Last year when Chad qualified for the B.A.S.S. Elites series I wished him luck. I knew that Chad would do well, dedicated and just an all around great angler. Chad is a regular visitor to my area Lake Fork and I can not tell you the hours we have spent fishing and practicing techniques together. As I followed Chad on the leader board on the Oneida tournament I knew he would seal the deal. I said it could not of been more deserved. Fishing circuits is sometimes isolating but because of the friends you make it it is a brotherhood and I am honored to be a part of it. Congratulations Chad!!!!
